Enrollment & Registration

PowerSchool Students Registration Now Open

It’s time to update your registration for the 2023-2024 school year! The PowerSchool online registration system is now open for use. You can use the PowerSchool Parent Portal to access the Enrollment Registration section to update your current information. This process must be done yearly for compliance with State mandates.

If you are brand new to Summit School's you will receive personalized instructions by email or a letter by post to create a new account. If you have an existing student and are enrolling a younger sibling please watch for an email or letter by post with instructions to add your new student to your existing account.

To access the system, you will need to create an account using your email address and a password. Once you have created an account, you will be able to complete the following forms:

• Student Information Form
• Health Information Form
• Transportation Information Form
• Free and Reduced Lunch Form
• Emergency Contact Information Form

Getting Started

From the PowerSchool Parent Portal:

1- Log into your parent account (the same way you would check your student’s grades)
2- Select the student you wish to register along the top left
3- Select the Registration link on the lower left side
4- Agree to the terms and conditions
5- Click Begin Forms

I can’t remember my login for the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
If you aren’t able to retrieve your login credentials using the “Having trouble signing in?” link on the Sign In page, please contact your school directly for assistance logging in to the Parent Portal.

Do I have to answer all the questions?
Questions marked with a red asterisk (*) are required.

What if I make a mistake?
If you would like to make a change prior to submitting the form, you can either navigate back to the page using the “< Prev” and “Next >” buttons or if you are on the Review page click on the underlined field.  If you have already submitted the form you will need to contact your student’s school so they can make the changes for you.

I’ve completed the form, now what?
Once you have finished entering your information click “Submit.” This will send all of the information you’ve entered to the school. If you cannot click on this button you will need to make sure that you have answered all required questions. Once you have successfully completed the registration update and submitted it, you will receive a “successfully completed” notice at the top of the screen.

What if I have more than one student in the district? Do I need to do this for each child?
Yes, you will need to provide information that is specific to each child.  We recommend that you complete and submit one form and then start another. This will allow you to “snap” (or share) selected family information, which saves you time.

We will be providing on-site support, including bilingual support on specific dates for those that prefer to fill in the forms at our schools. You do not have to go to your own school. You may go to any of these locations.
