Accessibility Statement

We want everyone who visits the Summit School District website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

What are we doing?

To help us make the Your School website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Summit School District website.

Summit School District’s Commitment to Accessibility Compliance: HB21-1110

Accessibility Notice for Archived and Stored Records

Summit School District is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all individuals per Colorado House Bill 21-1110. This legislation requires that all state and local government websites and digital content meet accessibility standards.

Archived or stored materials, including but not limited to presentations, reports, and legally required documents published before July 1, 2024, may not currently meet these standards. However, accessible versions of these materials are available upon request.

To request an accessible format of any such content, please contact:
communications@summitk12.org.

We value inclusive access to information and appreciate your support in maintaining an accessible digital environment for everyone.

How are we doing?

We've worked hard on the Summit School District website and believe we've achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.
