This year, we are proud to launch Supplies for Success to elevate our School Supply Drive. This program aims to ensure that elementary* and middle school students in Summit School District kick off the academic year equipped with all the essential supplies they need to succeed.
About Supplies for Success
In partnership with Summit County Community & Senior Center, Freeport McMoRan, Education Foundation of the Summit, Summit Rotary, Smart Bellies, Summit 50 Plus and grassroots community fundraising efforts we are providing the supplies students need to start the year right.
Why This Matters
Families spend an average of $100 per year on school supplies for each child. With 41.2% of our students living at or near the poverty level, many families struggle to afford these essentials. Supplies for Success ensures all students have what they need to start the year strong.
About Summit Schools Supplies for Success
Supplies for Success is a school supply distribution program that ensures close to 1,500 elementary* and middle school students in Summit School District start the school year with the supplies they need for a successful and strong academic year.
Our community partners play a crucial role in the success of Supplies for Success. Your sponsorships and donations make a meaningful impact on students' educational journey.

Supplies for Success Distribution
We are planning to prepare supplies for over 1,600 students for the 2024/2025 school year. All supplies are delivered to each of the participating* schools in Summit School District. Please note that each school handles the distribution of the supplies in a way that is best for their individual school community.
*Participating schools: K-5 @ Dillon Valley Elementary, Silverthorne Elementary, **Frisco Elementary, Summit Middle School.
Supplies for Summit Cove Elementary, Upper Blue Elementary and Breckenridge Elementary provided through individual school PTSA.
