Student information is stored through PowerSchool. It is important to update student information annually. The Annual Update will open on July 29 at 12:00 pm.

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we invite you to update your student’s information in PowerSchool, our central hub for student data. Ensuring your information is current helps us provide the best educational experience for your child and ensure that your contact information is up to date so that you receive important school communications.  This update is required annually for all students.

For assistance with the online Annual Student Info Update for the 2024-2025 school year, please attend any of the sessions listed below. You do not have to go to your own school. You may go to any of these locations.

Immunization requirements are viewable under Vaccination Checklist on the Health page. CHSAA required Sports physicals are available through the School Based Health Centers. 

Summit School District will be switching to a new communications platform at the start of the new year. The new platform will be able to translate into over 117 languages. We will utilize SchoolMessenger to send voice, email and text message  updates regarding important school information, events, emergency or weather related communications, classroom level communications. You may choose the language you prefer  to receive communications in. Please make sure to update your contact preferences in PowerSchool during the Annual Student Update.

SchoolMessenger is an easy-to-use communication platform designed to keep parents, teachers, and school staff connected. It combines all school-related notifications, updates, and interactions, ensuring that parents are always informed and engaged

Text Messaging Opt-in:
You will receive a text message on August 12th at 10:00 am from the 67587 short-code inviting you to opt-in to receive SMS messages from your district. All you'll need to do is reply with a "Y" or "Yes," and you will be opted in and eligible to receive SMS. If you would like to opt in now you can just send "Y" or "Yes" to 67587.

PowerSchool App: Middle School & High School students and families 

The PowerSchool Mobile app is available for free on the App Store for iOS devices and Google Play for Android devices. To download the app, you can: 

• Open the App Store or Google Play app 
• Search for "PowerSchool" 
• Select the PowerSchool app as the first result 

Once downloaded, you can configure the app to recognize your school district's server and sign in with your PowerSchool Student and Parent Portal username and password. The app will guide you through the process. 

The PowerSchool Mobile app allows parents, guardians, and students to access real-time student information, such as grades, assignments, and attendance.

Pre-registration for school transportation is now closed. We will send an email with information regarding bus routes on August 12th.

You will find your student's route information by registering with Smart Tag. To register you will need your student's ID #, their date of birth and the campus location. Once registered--- Under the Student's Route Tab you will find the bus #, Stop assigned and the time. Please check it often as times do change with new enrollment or bus stop changes.
